PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Managers Association (MRMA) has appointed Derek Teh Wan Wei, the chief executive officer and executive director of Sunway-REIT Management Sdn Bhd, as its chairman.
The association re-elected Zuhairy Md Isa from Am-REIT Managers Sdn Bhd as vice-chairman. Yong Su Lin from CapitaLand Malaysia-REIT Management Sdn Bhd is also newly elected as vice-chairman.
Datuk Stewart Labrooy of Alpha-REIT Managers Sdn Bhd was re-elected as honourary secretary and Hafidz Atrash Kosai Mohd Zihim from Pelaburan Hartanah Nasional Bhd will continue his term as honourary treasurer for the second year.
Meanwhile, Zainal Iskandar Ismail from Hektar Asset Management Sdn Bhd was elected as a committee member.
