KUALA LUMPUR: Gamuda Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary in Australia, DT Infrastructure, has secured two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts worth AU$1.1 billion (approximately RM3.12 billion) for the delivery of Smoky Creek and Guthrie’s Gap solar power stations.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the developer said the Smoky Creek solar power station project contract, valued at AU$550 million (approximately RM1.56 billion), was entered into with Smoky Creek Solar Power Station Pty Ltd.

Meanwhile, the EPC contract for the Guthrie’s Gap Solar Power Station Project, worth AU$550 million (approximately RM1.56 billion), was entered into with Guthrie’s Gap Solar Power Station Pty Ltd.

"DT Infrastructure will deliver EPC services for the Smoky Creek and Guthrie’s Gap solar power stations, including design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the solar generation, battery energy storage systems and associated balance of plant infrastructure.

"DT Infrastructure will also provide ongoing operations and maintenance services for both assets following completion, supporting long-term asset performance and reliability,” it said. Both contracts will be completed in 30 months.

Gamuda said the projects are expected to contribute positively to group revenue and earnings for the financial year ending July 31, 2026 onwards, until their completion. - Bernama
