Bintai Kinden secures tender for 103-acre Ayer Keroh land

PETALING JAYA: Bintai Kinden Corp Bhd’s (BKCB) wholly-owned subsidiary, Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd (KBK), has received a letter of award following an open tender conducted by PLUS Malaysia Berhad for two parcels of leasehold land measuring approximately 103 acres in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

In a statement, BKCB said the lands are earmarked for a mixed residential and commercial development with an estimated gross development value of approximately RM296.54mil.

“The project is expected to expand Bintai’s presence in the Melaka property market. KBK will lead the development, including the construction works, subject to obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals.”

Separately, BKCB announced that revenue for its first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (1QFY27) surged by 77.97% year-on-year to RM13.52mil, up from RM7.59mil in the corresponding quarter last year.

“This robust top-line growth was primarily driven by higher work progress and progress billings from the mechanical and electrical engineering segment, particularly its construction sub-segment.

It reported a net profit of RM1.61mil in 1QFY27 compared with a net loss of RM3.88mil a year earlier.
