Infomina to acquire 51% stake in Blue Fortress for RM25.5mil


PETALING JAYA: Infomina Bhd, via its wholly-owned subsidiary Infomina Services Sdn Bhd is acquiring a 51% stake in Blue Fortress Sdn Bhd (BFSB) for RM25.5mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Infomina said it acquired the stake from Luke Shu Ern Huong, Seu Nga @ Peter Shu, Tan Chin Moy and Yap Sin Hoe.

BFSB’s principal activities are the provision of computer software, consultancy, project management, information security-related products and services.

Infomina added that BFSB has established a strong customer base across the financial services sector, serving major commercial banks in Malaysia, as well as large enterprises and government agencies.

“The acquisition aligns with the company’s broader strategy of expanding its enterprise technology ecosystem by adding specialised cybersecurity and digital trust capabilities to complement its existing strengths in mission-critical infrastructure, digital transformation, data and artificial intelligence enabled solutions.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the board is of the view that the acquisition is expected to contribute positively to the financial performance of the group in the future.”
