CBH Engineering secures RM246mil data centre contract in Johor


PETALING JAYA: CBH Engineering Holding Bhd has secured a letter of award from Company A to undertake the proposed supply and/or taking delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of high-voltage transformers and associated equipment of a 275 kilovolts substation for a data centre in Johor, worth RM246mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, CBH said the contract shall commence on July 3, 2026 and shall be completed on Sept 15, 2028.

Meanwhile, for its second quarter ended June 30, 2026, CBH reported that its net profit rose to RM24.53mil from RM10.11mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue grew to RM120.93mil from RM59.68mil a year earlier.

For the six-month period ended June 30, 2026, CBH’s net profit improved to RM42.73mil from RM15.84mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue surged to RM210.47mil from RM96.12mil previously.

The group declared a single-tier interim dividend of RM0.0027 per ordinary share, to be paid on Sept 30.
