Bursa makes changes to indices


PETALING JAYA: The FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia (F4GBM) Index will see 26 new inclusions and six exclusions for its December 2025 review, bringing the total number of constituents to 180.

The syariah-compliant FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Shariah (F4GBMS) Index will see 24 inclusions and 10 exclusions, bringing its total to 139.

Both changes take effect on Dec 22.

In a statement, the local exchange said Ajinomoto (M) Bhd, Gas Malaysia Bhd and Johor Plantations Group Bhd are among the companies that now qualify for both the F4GBM Index and F4GBMS Index under the latest review.

Sunway Real Estate Investment Trust has been added to the F4GBM Index but not to the F4GBMS Index.

The six exclusions from the F4GBM Index are Carimin Petroleum Bhd, Comfort Gloves Bhd, Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd, Hextar Healthcare Bhd, Innature Bhd and Tasco Bhd. Hengyuan Refining Company Bhd was removed from the F4GBMS Index.
