KUALA LUMPUR: Land & General Bhd (L&G) has launched Damansara Laverra, a freehold high-rise residential development in Bandar Sri Damansara with a gross development value (GDV) of RM752 million.

The property developer said the project comprises two towers with a total of 1,008 residential units on a 2.84-acre freehold residential-titled site.

The development offers two-room, three-room and four-room layouts with built-up sizes ranging from 725 square feet to 1,150 square feet, at an average selling price of RM870 per square foot, it said.

L&G said the launch event yesterday recorded strong buyer interest, with queues forming during the booking registration process.

"The launch recorded more than 600 units booked within the day, representing approximately 61 per cent of total units booked, reflecting strong market confidence and robust demand for the new development,” it said in a statement today.

The company said the response reflects continued demand within the Damansara corridor, following the performance of its nearby developments, Damansara Livista and Residensi Kamelia, which recorded take-up rates of about 90 per cent and 83 per cent respectively as at April 30, 2026.

L&G also said the project is located about 500 metres from the Sri Damansara West Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station and will be connected via a planned covered walkway.

"The development also benefits from Bandar Sri Damansara’s mature and established township ecosystem with close proximity to retail conveniences, lifestyle amenities and educational institutions, including the group’s award-winning Sri Bestari Private School and Sri Bestari International School,” it said.

Managing director Low Gay Teck said the development is located within an established residential township in the Klang Valley where freehold high-rise projects are becoming less common.

"Bandar Sri Damansara continues to attract buyers due to its established township ecosystem,

connectivity, lifestyle conveniences and long-term livability.

"We believe Damansara Laverra is well positioned as a quality freehold residential offering for owner-occupiers and families who view the township not merely as a place to live, but as a sustainable long-term investment or legacy asset,” he said.

L&G also mentioned that the project features eight to 12 units per floor, supported by four lifts.

According to L&G, the project includes facilities such as a 50-metre lap pool, water cascade, integrated green spaces and recreational areas.

The development is targeted for completion by the second quarter of 2030. - Bernama
