Censof unit to develop Islamic accounting system for FT Islamic council


KUALA LUMPUR: Censof Holdings Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Century Software (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has accepted an RM17.8mil contract from the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council (FTIRC) in relation to the development of an accounting system based on Islamic accounting standards.

In a stock exchange filing, the group said the project is for a period of five years with no renewal option upon its expiry.

"The board of directors is of the view that the project is in the best interest of the company and its subsidiaries and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the group for the financial years ending March 31, 2027, onwards."
