AWC wins RM42.3mil subcontract for data centre


PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd wholly-owned subsidiary Qudotech Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award from Gamuda Bhd for subcontract works at a hyperscale data centre in Eco Business Park V in Puncak Alam, Selangor, valued at RM42.3mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, AWC said the scope of works covers the cold water, rainwater harvesting and sanitary systems.

It said the subcontract works will commence on Dec 8, 2025, and are scheduled for completion on Feb 28, 2027, for facility one and Sept 1, 2027, for facility two.

“The subcontract works are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the AWC Group over the duration of the project,” it said.
