Ni Hsin delivers first batch of 43 SURRON electric motorcycles to Chinese partner

PETALING JAYA: Ni Hsin Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Ni Hsin EV Tech Sdn Bhd (NHEVT), has handed over the first batch of 43 newly upgraded SURRON electric off-road motorcycles to Chongqing Qiulong Technology Co Ltd (Qiulong).

The handover marks a major milestone under their Motorcycle Completely Knocked Down (CKD) Assembly Cooperation Agreement.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Ni Hsin noted the partnership combines NHEVT’s local assembly capabilities with Qiulong's technological expertise to support Malaysia's EV ecosystem and expand SURRON’s presence across Asean markets.

The collaboration plans to roll out next-generation, high-performance variants and establish strategic distribution frameworks next.

NHEVT is the exclusive assembler and distributor of selected SURRON models and its own EBIXON range in Malaysia. Qiulong is a pioneer in lightweight electric off-road motorcycles distributed globally.
