Tanco short-selling halted after 15% drop in share price


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia has suspended the intraday short selling for Tanco Holdings Bhd for the rest of the day after its securities’ last done price fell more than 15 per cent or 15 sen from the reference price.

At 12.12 pm, shares of the construction and property development group slipped 13.5 sen to 80.5 sen, with 29.03 million shares traded.

Bursa Malaysia announced today that short selling of the stock under the intraday short selling (IDSS) would only be activated tomorrow (Nov 5, 2025) at 8.30 am. - Bernama
