Maybank said it is focused on working closely with customers to understand their circumstances and provide appropriate support.

KUALA LUMPUR: Maybank remains ready to support customers amid current geopolitical and economic uncertainties, with financial assistance available and accessible through multiple channels.

In a statement yesterday, the bank said it understands that individuals and businesses may experience financial pressures differently over time and is focused on working closely with customers to understand their circumstances and provide appropriate support.

“Assistance may include measures such as adjustments to repayment terms as well as tenure extensions to help customers better manage their financial commitments during this period.

“Customers may request assistance through multiple channels, including the ‘Financial Relief’ option on Maybank2u, by contacting their respective relationship managers, by visiting Maybank branches and relevant service centres nationwide, or by contacting the Maybank Group Customer Care Hotline at 1-300-88-6688,” said the bank.
