Ecobuilt announces CEO resignation, appoints successor


KUALA LUMPUR: Ecobuilt Holdings Bhd today announced the resignation of its chief executive officer (CEO) Lim Chin Yen effective immediately.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction company said Lim, 48, resigned "to dedicate more time to family and to pursue personal interests.”

The company stated that there was no disagreement between him and the board of directors, and that no matters arising from his resignation needed to be brought to shareholders’ attention.

He is succeeded by Fong Tuck Yong, 52, who has been appointed as the new CEO on the same day.

Fong holds a Diploma in Building Technology from Tunku Abdul Rahman College and an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from Swansea Institute, United Kingdom, Ecobuilt said.

It said Fong has over 30 years of experience overseeing complex construction projects, with a background in team leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder communication. - Bernama
