KUALA LUMPUR: HHRG Bhd has extended the suspension period of its CEO for two weeks until May 4, 2025.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the biomass materials manufacturer said Fong Chee Khuen will remain suspended for a further two weeks pending the outcome of an internal investigation.

HHRG had announced to the stock exchange on April 7, 2025, that it had suspended Fong as a precautionary measure to facilitate an independent review into allegations of misconduct.

Last month, the company announced that it had suspended the managing director, production manager and finance and human resource manager of its 51%-owned subsidiary, MG Furniture Sdn Bhd, to facilitate internal investigations.

Prior to the lunch break, the trading stock in HHRG was last traded for 11.5 sen a share with 436,000 shares changing hands.
