Pansar gets RM477mil road project


PETALING JAYA: Pansar Bhd, an engineering solutions provider, has been awarded a project worth RM477.68mil through an invited tender by the Sarawak Public Works Department for the design and build of a road from Simpang Tanah Puteh to Gedong Isthmus.

The company said in an announcement to the stock exchange that the project, part of Package 1 of the Serian-Gedong-Samarahan dual carriageway highway from Simpang Rayang/Munggu Kopi/Tanah Puteh/Sebemban to Gedong district, would involve the design and construction of an 8.5-km four-lane dual carriageway including two bridges, an autonomous rapid transit reserve, bicycle tracks, utility corridors, road lighting, road furniture and signs.

It added that the project, which would contribute progressively to the earnings of the company, would commence in February 2025 and take 36 months to complete.
