MN Holdings wins RM63mil TNB contract


KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary MN Power Transmission Sdn Bhd has secured an RM63mi contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd.

MN Holdings said the contract was for the extension of new 1x132KV overhead lines battery energy storage system (BESS) interconnection facilities bay at existing transmission main intake 132/11KV Santong (air insulated switchgear or AIS) and new PMU 132/33kV Santong BESS (1x120MVA AIS).

“The contract shall be effective from Oct 30, 2024 with the time for completion being 540 days from the commencement date,” MNHB said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

The contract is expected to be earnings accretive and to contribute positively to the net assets and net assets per share of the group upon commencement of the contract, it added. — Bernama
