PETALING JAYA: Industrial rubber hose maker Wellcall Holdings Bhd
is looking to acquire three parcels of contiguous vacant leasehold industrial land in Kinta, Perak for RM32mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the group said the purchase represented an aggregate land area of about 18.31 acres.
The deal was carried out via its wholly-owned subsidiary, Wellcall Hose (M) Sdn Bhd which entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Jubilee Link Sdn Bhd.
Wellcall noted the land parcels are within the vicinity of its existing manufacturing facilities in Kinta, Perak.
The group currently operates three manufacturing facilities within the industrial area of Kawasan Perindustrian Pengkalan II in Kinta, Perak.
To date, Wellcall has not submitted a development plan to relevant authorities in respect to the land parcels.
