BANGKOK: The draft bill supporting the Thai computer gaming industry is expected to come into effect next year and will play a crucial role in promoting the country as a regional computer gaming hub, according to the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (Depa).

“The agency is drafting the bill on the supervision and promotion of the gaming industry in Thailand,” Depa president Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin said on Monday.
