KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has secured 416 business events to be held from 2026 to 2030, with a projected estimated economic impact (EEI) of RM3.98 billion, as of June 30, 2026.

Chief executive officer Tan Mei Phing said the achievements reflect the continued confidence of international organisers in Malaysia's capabilities, strong industry ecosystem and world-class hospitality.

"MyCEB continues to strengthen Malaysia’s global competitiveness through international sales missions, strategic partnerships, enhanced media and digital communications, and industry development initiatives that support the sustainable growth of the business events industry," she said in a statement today.

MyCEB has also introduced the inaugural edition of the BE Horizon Bulletin, a new publication featuring market insights, industry developments and updates on Malaysia’s business events landscape as part of its commitment to strengthening industry engagement.

Looking ahead, Tan invited members of the media to participate in Malaysia Business Events Week (MBEW) 2026, which will be held from Aug 3 to 5, 2026, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre under the theme "Weaving Horizons: Shaping the Tapestry of Tomorrow”.

"The media have always been one of MyCEB’s most valued strategic partners,” she said during the second edition of MyCEB's media engagement with editors, journalists and media partners today. - Bernama
