Keyfield secures RM48mil contract from Vestigo Petroleum


KUALA LUMPUR: Keyfield International Bhd has secured a contract worth RM48mil to provide an accommodation workboat, including an extension option.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Keyfield said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Keyfield Offshore Sdn Bhd (KOSB) secured the contract from Vestigo Petroleum Sdn Bhd to provide one unit of accommodation work boat (AWB) for Vestigo’s offshore activities.

The contract which commenced in August 2024, is valued at about RM34.6mil for the primary charter period while the extension period (at the charterer’s option) is valued at about RM13.4mil.

Keyfield will provide one unit of AWB with crew and on-board services to perform the agreed scope of works to meet the charterer’s requirements.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Keyfield group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024,” it said.
