Bursa issues UMA query on Woodlandor following Friday limit-up


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Securities has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query on Woodlandor Holdings Bhd following a sharp rise in the price and volume of its shares.

Shares in the building materials producer hit limit up on Friday after surging 35 sen or 29.66% to RM1.53 a share.

The one-day trading volume of 11.25 million shares marks the highest recorded in the stock's trading history.

Woodlandor's share price has been on the uptrend since Jan 6, 2022, when it last traded at 74 sen a share.

Since then, the stock has leapt more than 100% in value.
