APB Resources secures RM10.4mil purchase order

KUALA LUMPUR: APB Resources Bhd has secured a RM10.4mil contract to undertake works involving mechanical engineering, procurement and construction of pressure vessels, columns and heat exchangers.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, APB said its wholly-owned subsidiary Amalgamated Metal Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd had received and accepted the purchase order from Desmet Ballestra (SEA) Ptd Ltd.

The scope of works is estimated to be completed within eight months.

“The contract will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of the company.

“However, it is expected to have an impact on earnings of APB Group over the financial year ending Sept 30, 2022,” APB said.
