Aerospace goods in high demand


“The higher revenue from the Aerospace segment was mainly due to increase in sales of casing and aerostructures products,” the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sam Engineering & Equipment (M) Bhd reported higher sales and profits in the second quarter ended Sept 30, supported by the strong demand for aerospace products.

This mitigated the lower contribution from its equipment segment, which was affected by the temporary closure of two factories in Penang during the quarter.
