Zetrix AI confirms suspension of RTD services

KUALA LUMPUR: Zetrix AI Bhd has confirmed its Road Transport Department (RTD) services will be temporarily suspended from Oct 5, 2026.

It made the announcement to the stock exchange following a news report and the notice from the RTD dated Oct 2, 2026.

"The company is currently in discussion to resolve the issues and will make further announcements on any material development as and when it is appropriate and/or necessary," it said.

It had been reported that Zetrix AI had failed to remit over RM200mil it had collected for the renewal of road tax, driving licences and traffic summonses to the RTD.

According to Singapore's Straits Times, the financial services firm, formerly known as MyEG Services Bhd, had yet to transfer the funds owed from its three-year contract with the RTD that began in May 2023.

Shares in the company were last traded at 11.5 sen apiece on Friday.
