Willowglen MSC bags RM5.8mil Singapore RFID maintenance contract


PETALING JAYA: Willowglen MSC Bhd has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Willowglen Services Pte Ltd, has been awarded a contract valued equivalent to approximately RM5.8mil by SP PowerAssets Ltd, Singapore, for the comprehensive maintenance of Radio Frequency Identity (RFID) system in cable tunnels.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Willowglen MSC said the commencement date of the contract is on Oct 2, 2026 and will be completed by Oct 1, 2031.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets per share for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2026 to 2031.

“The contract is not renewable and the risks in respect of the contract are the normal business risks, said the company.

Willowglen said none of its directors and / or major shareholders of the company or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect in the new contract awarded.
