KUALA LUMPUR: Dentsu Malaysia (formerly Dentsu Aegis Network) has announced the appointment of Dheeraj Raina as media CEO.
This pivotal hire follows dentsu international’s new brand evolution and simplified business model integrating key capabilities, technology, and investment functions within three lines of businesses established in creative, media, and CRM.
Dheeraj brings more than 16 years of driving growth through powerful and industry-leading capabilities, having worked with leading brands such as Celcom, Friesland-Campina, Digi, Tesco, Sunway and Kimberly-Clark.
He joined dentsu malaysia from GroupM, where he was managing director of Mindshare and on the EXCO.
Prior to that, he was managing director of ADA running country business for Malaysia and other emerging markets. ADA is Axiata’s data and artificial intelligence company.

Dheeraj is recognised for his proprietary IP’s for retail, telecom and travel industries in marketing planning and for his contributions as mentor to fintech/SME/start-ups of Malaysia.
