BOND managers at some of the world’s biggest asset managers are heading into the final stretch of the year with a simple message for investors: in a bond market full of political, inflation and credit risks, big bets are becoming harder to justify.
Instead, the managers are favouring higher-quality assets, shorter maturities and carefully selected pockets of value as elevated yields offer income that can help cushion portfolios against further price swings, according to a Reuters report.
