Greenback bounces back


THE US dollar is heading into the final quarter of 2026 with renewed momentum, with Wall Street strategists increasingly expecting the greenback to stay supported through year-end as US growth and interest-rate differentials work in its favour.

The shift marks a sharp turnaround from earlier expectations that the currency would weaken in the second half of the year, according to a Bloomberg report.
