AmBank launches private banking to stay competitive

The AmBank Group yesterday launched its private banking initiative, confident that it would give the group a competitive edge in tough times. 

“Malaysia is not a poor country,” AmBank Group chairman Tan Sri Azman Hashim said, noting that the number of BMW and Mercedes-Benz cars on the roads indicated there was quite a big market of wealthy people.
