Brunei to showcase coffee culture overseas to promote tourism; special show to be held in Miri

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Xinhua): Brunei is taking its coffee culture to the regional stage with the Brunei Coffee Trail event in Miri in the neighboring Malaysian state of Sarawak, as part of its tourism promotional campaign.

According to Brunei's tourism development department, the three-day event will be held at a shopping center in Miri from Aug. 7 to Aug. 9.

The department said the event aims to encourage more visitors from Sarawak to cross the border and experience Brunei's unique offerings, while providing local coffee and matcha cafes and other Brunei establishments and entrepreneurs a platform to promote their products and expand their market reach. -- Xinhua
