Programme promotes Brunei-South Korea friendship

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Embassy of Korea in Brunei Darussalam held the inauguration ceremony for its first-ever SNS (social network service) Supporters programme at the embassy on Friday (May 15).

Twelve supporters were selected this year, comprising 11 Bruneian youth and one Korean university student residing in Brunei.

Ambassador of Korea to Brunei Sun Nam-kook said, “I hope the young people of Korea and Brunei will deepen their understanding of one another through this programme and serve as a bridge for friendship and cooperation between our two countries.”

The programme aims to promote Korean culture and strengthen mutual understanding between Brunei and Korea through social media activities.

The supporters will create and share SNS contents related to Korea, including Korean culture, food, tourism and embassy events.

Outstanding contents may also be featured on the embassy’s official social media platforms. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
