The 'Potential 2026' programme helps entrepreneurs survive under economic pressure and current challenging atmosphere

KUALA LUMPUR: In an increasingly challenging economic environment, a new self-development initiative has been introduced to help entrepreneurs enhance their resilience and business management capabilities.

The program known as "Potential 2026: Recognise & Master Your Personal, Financial, and Business Potential" was launched by entrepreneur mentor, Datuk Wira Dr. Azizan Osman, in collaboration with RichWorks as an effort to empower the local entrepreneurial community.

The initiative scheduled to take place this May focuses on the internal development of entrepreneurs, including aspects of mindset, finance, and business strategy to better prepare them for the current economic uncertainties.

According to the organisers, many entrepreneurs are currently facing pressure in terms of operational costs, cash flow, and rapid market changes. Therefore, this program is designed to help participants identify their potential and subsequently leverage it to strengthen their respective businesses.

The approach taken is not merely theoretical; instead, it emphasises practical actions and mindset changes so that entrepreneurs can adapt to uncertain economic situations.

In addition, this program also aims to build confidence and mental resilience among entrepreneurs so that they do not easily give up when facing business challenges.

"Potential 2026" is seen as a continuation of various entrepreneurial development initiatives that have been introduced previously, with improvements aligned with current needs and global economic challenges.

Through this continuous effort, it is hoped that more local entrepreneurs will be able to rise, remain relevant, and continue to grow despite facing increasingly complex economic pressures.

Meanwhile, RichWorks Group Holdings Berhad (Richworks) continues to achieve remarkable milestones by receiving recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) for its success in becoming the largest provider of SME entrepreneurship mentoring programs in the country.

The recognition was given after 4,302 entrepreneurs under the guidance of RichWorks from 2021 to February 2026, who generated a total sales of RM15.1 billion (2021-2025), thereby proving the effectiveness of the entrepreneurship development program implemented by the company.

Datuk Wira Dr Azizan Osman said that the achievement is not just a number, but reflects a comprehensive change experienced by entrepreneurs in terms of mindset, leadership, and business strategy.

According to him, success was born from the consistent actions of entrepreneurs who followed the guidance and their determination to grow in a challenging economic environment.

The mentoring initiative run by RichWorks focuses on the internal development of entrepreneurs, in addition to strengthening the aspects of financial management, marketing, and business operations comprehensively.

Moreover, the holistic approach used also helps entrepreneurs enhance their resilience, especially when facing market uncertainties and current economic pressures.
