Cambodia and Lithuania to further promote ties and elevate economic partnership


PHNOM  (Xinhua): Cambodia and Lithuania have vowed to further advance bilateral relations and cooperation for the benefit of both countries and their peoples, said a Cambodian foreign ministry's press release on Saturday.

The commitment was made during a meeting held here between Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys, said the press release issued at the conclusion of Budrys's two-day official visit to Cambodia.

Sokhonn underscored the importance of sustained political engagement at all levels and extended appreciation to Lithuania's contributions to global mine clearance efforts, encouraging its continued support.

The two ministers also engaged in a constructive exchange of views on regional and global issues of mutual concern, the press release said. - XInhua
