Malaysian top star Khai Bahar serenades all for the Hari Raya festive season with his single 'Aku Rindu'

Top Malaysian singer Khai Bahar once again touched the hearts of fans with his latest Raya single, "Aku Rindu," released under the popular music label, Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia, and composed by Farouk Roman with the lyrics written by Adrianna Cinta.

This song is not just an ordinary Eid celebration; it takes listeners to delve into the wave of Khai's longing for his beloved mother who has passed away, through a dramatic and melancholic that combines deep emotions with the beauty of Raya music.

Each stanza invites the listeners to feel the warmth of Syawal filled with memories and meaning, as if bringing them to moments that remain in the heart.

For Khai, "Aku Rindu" stands out because of its bravery in conveying a sincere longing, far beyond just the joy of Eid. This song is more reflective and emotional. "It's not just for celebration, but to be felt, especially for those who are far away or have lost someone," Khai said.

This song was born from Khai's personal experience, where memories of his mother are always fresh in his memory. "Aku Rindu" allows Khai to channel those feelings in the form of music, creating a work that not only entertains but also touches the listeners' souls.

The emotional journey of this song is meticulously crafted: the honest verses seem to tell a story, the pre-chorus that gradually stirs emotions, and the chorus that fully releases longing completely, ending with a calm and peaceful closure, as if enveloping listeners in the tranquility of Syawal.

Listeners will surely be captivated by the final chorus, which is the dramatic peak of this song, demanding solid vocal control and precise emotional interpretation.

"If it's too strong, the soul is lost, and if it's too soft, the climax doesn't reach its peak. o, you need to balance between power and feel," Khai explained.

To ensure that the feeling of longing and the atmosphere of the night of Eid truly reach listeners, Khai emphasises appreciation not only through vocal techniques but also through the evocation of the real atmosphere: the sound of takbir on Raya night, the bustling scene of many returning to the village, and the feeling of being far from loved ones.

"When we feel it ourselves, God willing, the listeners will feel it too," he added.

Special vocal techniques such as breathy tone in the lyric lines, full yet gentle vocals in the chorus, and soft falsetto in some parts add layers, but soft in the chorus, and gentle falsetto in some parts add layers, dramatic and soul-piercing melancholic effects.

The recording process took place in a focused and calm atmosphere, allowing Khai to truly immerse himself in the emotion of each lyric, truly immersing himself in the emotion of each lyric. Some recordings are repeated to ensure every emotion is delivered perfectly, allowing the listeners to feel the sincerity and depth of the feelings that want to be conveyed.

"Everyone involved gave me the space to fully get into the mood." There were a few recordings that I asked to repeat because I wanted to get the right feel," Khai explained.

For Khai, the strength of this song lies in the combination of its lyrics and melody. Through the lyrics, it brings a story, while through the melody emotions are conveyed, and the arrangement of the music supports the whole without being excessive, forming a complete work that is not just to be heard, but to be felt.

Khai hopes this song is not only listened to but truly felt: "I hope when people listen to it for the first time, they immediately feel touched, perhaps reminded of someone, their hometown, or a meaningful Raya moment. If this song can make people pause for a moment and feel something in their hearts, that is already meaningful enough for me.”

"Aku Rindu" is Khai's invitation for every listener to delve into the emotions of Syawal, feeling the warmth of family love, and cherishing memories that remain in the heart.

The Raya single "Aku Rindu" by Khai Bahar can now be streamed anytime on all main digital platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube. Feel every moment of longing, the warmth and beauty of Syawal brought by Khai throughout Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations this year.
