Star singer Khai Bahar is on a starry high; his new single hitting the charts and now also official brand ambassador for top food brand

Popular Malaysian singer Khai Bahar once again captivates fans with his latest single titled “Kalau Bukan Aku”, and it is hitting big numbers on the charts.

And to further celebrate his current good rate, the star singer has also been appointed Official Brand Ambassador for a top food brand.

The song, featuring a more mature and profound side of Khai, “Kalau Bukan Aku” addresses the theme of love that doesn’t necessarily end happily, but still leaves room for acceptance and perseverance. It is available on all streaming platforms and has been hitting good numbers since it was released three weeks ago.

Top food company Happy Alliance, well-known for its Coco Cado brand, has now announced the appointment of popular singer Khai Bahar as its Official Brand Ambassador with the introduction of Potato Sticks and Popping Pearls.

The move in appointing Khai is with the aim to elevate the brand’s image and expand its marketing reach to a wider audience, especially youths and families.

"Khai Bahar was selected not only for his strong popularity but also for his personal values, which align with Coco Cado’s identity: friendly, trustworthy, professional, and community-driven. His humble personality and sincere appreciation for his supporters make him an ideal figure to represent the brand," said Managing Director of Happy Alliance Johnny Tan, adding, Khai’s positive character and warmth are a perfect match for Coco Cado’s brand.

“Khai Bahar has an extraordinary influence in Malaysia, and we see a strong synergy between him and the Coco Cado brand. We believe this appointment will propel Coco Cado to a higher level and open up more opportunities for collaboration in the future,” he said.

Meanwhile, a recent launch event was officiated by Johnny Tan, who noted that the introduction of these two new products reflects Coco Cado’s commitment to meeting consumer demand for modern, innovative, and high-quality snacks.

Potato Sticks – 100% Real Potato Strips Made Using Vacuum Frying Technology

The first product, Potato Sticks, comes in three exciting flavours: Salted, Tomato, and Black Pepper. Made from 100% real potatoes, the snack is produced using Vacuum Frying Technology, which is a low-pressure frying method that reduces oil absorption while preserving the potatoes’ nutrients, natural colour, and authentic taste.

As a result, Potato Sticks offer a crispier texture, richer flavour, and a lighter, higher-quality snack option for the whole family.

Popping Pearls – Chewy, Fruit-Filled Jellies

The second product, Popping Pearls, is available in three unique flavours: Water Chestnut, Barley, and Red Bean. Unlike Potato Sticks, Popping Pearls are round, jelly-like spheres filled with real fruit.

With their chewy texture and delightful “bursting” sensation when bitten into, Popping Pearls can be enjoyed on their own or added as toppings to various desserts, beverages, and everyday snacks.

For the record, Happy Alliance is an active player in the development and production of innovative snacks and beverages in Malaysia. Through the Coco Cado brand, the company remains committed to introducing high-quality, nutritious products that cater to the tastes and preferences of Malaysians.
