Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Bruneians to postpone travel to Middle East

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has advised Brunei Darussalam citizens to avoid and temporarily postpone travel to the Middle East following the ongoing unrest in the region.

In a statement, the ministry said it is closely monitoring developments through Brunei Darussalam’s diplomatic missions in Middle Eastern countries to ensure the safety and well-being of Bruneian citizens currently in the affected areas.

The MFA also stressed the importance for Bruneians in the region who have not yet registered with the nearest diplomatic mission to do so immediately via the e-Register system available on the ministry’s website at:
