Vietnamese PM orders credit support for people hit by recent floods, typhoons

HANOI: (Bernama-Xinhua) Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Wednesday (Nov 12) instructed the State Bank of Vietnam to consider preferential credit packages to help people and businesses overcome the impact of recent floods and typhoons, reported Xinhua, citing the Voice of Vietnam. 

In a despatch issued on Wednesday, he urged local authorities in affected provinces and cities in the central and southern regions to assess and compile damage reports following typhoons Fengshen and Kalmaegi in late October and early November.
