From enemies to lovers - much-awaited 'Fated Hearts', a riveting historical romance, premiered in iQIYI on Oct 2

The costume romance drama "Fated Hearts", starring Li Qin and Chen Zheyuan, has premiered in a big way on iQIYI starting October 2.

Starring Li Qin and Chen Zheyuan - the series adapted from a popular novel, the story follows Fu Yixiao and Feng Suige—two enemies whose fates entwine from a battlefield encounter to a powerful alliance, ultimately leading to love.

Fu Yixiao (played by Li Qin), a red-clad warrior with masterful archery skills, changes the tide of war with a single arrow. But after the battle, she loses her memory in a cliff fall and is rescued by a reclusive mountain villa.

Unexpectedly, she reunites with Feng Suige (played by Chen Zheyuan), who is recovering from an injury while being hunted.

The two join forces to uncover a political conspiracy, gradually developing trust and affection through life-threatening trials.

Breaking away from typical romance tropes, the show features a “female warrior × strategic prince” dynamic. Li Qin brings strength and elegance to her role, while Chen Zheyuan delivers a layered performance as the cold yet vulnerable prince.

Their chemistry adds emotional depth, supported by director Zhu Ruibin and a seasoned screenwriting team led by Qing Mu.

With fast-paced plot twists, emotional stakes, and a blend of war, intrigue, and love, "Fated Hearts" is one of October’s must-watch historical dramas. Tune in from October 2, only on iQIYI, and witness a fateful journey from enmity to love.
