Brunei Sultan to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping on state visit to China

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah will make a state visit to Beijing, China on Thursday (Feb 6), as well as attend the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games on Friday in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province in China.

While in Beijing, the Sultan will hold separate meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping; Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang; and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress of China Zhao Leji to reaffirm bilateral relations and further enhance cooperation in areas of mutual benefit to both countries as well as the prosperity and well-being of the people.
