Belait hospital hit by flash floods


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Flash floods hit several low-lying areas in the Belait District, including Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, on Wednesday (March 29).

The Ministry of Health (MoH), in a press release, said four clinics at the hospital – Obstetrics and Gynaecology; Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT); Audiology; and Paediatric were affected.

The affected clinics were temporarily closed for one day for cleaning and maintenance works.

The hospital has taken additional steps to ensure services in affected areas are not disrupted.
