Indonesia extends activity restrictions outside Java and Bali

JAKARTA, April 12 (Xinhua): The Indonesian government has decided to extend the implementation of the community activity restrictions (PPKM) outside Java and Bali from April 12 to April 25, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said on Tuesday.

The implementation of PPKM outside Java and Bali is improving with the number of the level 3 status of the four-tiered community activity restrictions declining from 110 to 43 districts and cities, and the Level 1 status increased from 26 to 84 districts and cities, the senior minister said in an official statement.
