Maximus: No increase in electricity rates until June 2015


KUALA LUMPUR: There will be no increase on electricity tariff until June next year said Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili.

"The ministry would like to announce that in the interest of the welfare of the rakyat, the Government has decided to maintain the current electricity tariffs rate until June 2015," he told reporters at Parliament lobby on Wednesday.
