100 under probe over myIMMS


High-tech: The myIMMs is the Immigration Department’s information technology system which was developed to support its operations in providing the best services to the public.

PUTRAJAYA: Some 100 people, including Immigration Department officers and syndicate members, are being investigated on suspicion of being involved in sabotaging the implementation of the Malaysian Immigration System (myIMMs).

In revealing this, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said among them were mid-level officers and support staff stationed at the KL International Airport (KLIA), who had been in service for between one and five years.
