Negri Sembilan crisis: 14 assemblymen agree to remain in the state unity government, says Zahid

PETALING JAYA: All Negri Sembilan assemblymen who have withdrawn their support of Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun have agreed to remain within the framework of the unity government in the state, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

According to Sinar Harian, the Umno president said that the matter was decided in his meeting with the 14 assemblymen on Thursday (April 30).

According to him, the meeting provided space for all parties to explain the true context behind the action to attract support, which had previously sparked various political interpretations.

"Withdrawing support is working, but we remain with the unity government in Negri Sembilan.

"This is something that must be reinterpreted so that there is no wrong perception or misinterpretation of the matter," he said.

He said this after opening the Forum on Empowering Trusted Access Across the Malaysian Digital Ecosystem and the MyDigital ID Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony in Putrajaya here on Thursday.
