Driving along the coast from Perth to Geraldton is an exciting, historical journey.
The new Indian Ocean Drive, from Perth to Geraldton in Western Australia, is a godsend to motorists. Until a couple of years ago, those travelling north from Nambung National Park, with its awesome “Pinnacles” formations, were forced to take a 50km inland detour before rejoining the northern coast road. With the southern Perth-Lancellin-Cervantes link completed, it is now possible to drive along the coast from Perth to Geraldton.
