SINCE CCTV (China Central Television) started airing their travel features on Astro about two years ago, the traveller in me had my sights set on China’s hinterlands.
Even on my modest TV screen, the images of pristine natural wonders, inspiring religious ruins and imposing historical sites were so awesome that I longed to see them in person.
