U Mobile has rolled out its new U Family 128 postpaid plan, offering a 1,000GB (1TB) data quota for RM128 per month.

The telco’s FAQ page notes that the plan comes with a Fair Usage Policy (FUP), which will see users’ Internet speeds reduced to 512Kbps once the FUP limit is reached.

The data quota can be utilised entirely on a main line or shared across up to three U Family Share lines without any additional fees. Subscribers will also enjoy free roaming, with up to 15GB of data available to be shared, and complimentary international incoming calls in 63 countries.

“U Mobile’s new family plan, U Family 128, was designed to meet the needs of today’s families, who want to stay connected effortlessly – whether they’re at home or travelling the world," says U Mobile chief marketing officer, Navin Manian, in a press release.

It is worth noting that customers are not obligated to activate the extra lines upon subscribing to the U Family 128 plan, with the option to do so later on at a U Mobile store.

The plan also provides unlimited calls to all Malaysian telco providers.
