Moleskine's new Dropbox Smart Notebook lets customers easily transfer their handwritten notes or sketches to a digital folder, making the projects easier to edit and share.
To capture the media, customers need to use the Moleskine Page Camera app to take a photo that frames the four corner markers on the notebook pages, so the app can recognise what it's capturing.
The media can also be edited in-app before being uploaded. The files can be saved in svg, jpeg or txt formats and sent to either Dropbox or Adobe Creative Cloud's file sharing platforms.
On its online store, Moleskine says this notebook is part of its Smart Notebook Collection, which lets customers digitally edit, store and share handwritten notes and sketches.
"This is ideal for professionals, students and people who love to work and think distraction-free with pen and paper, but who also want the convenience of storing and browsing notes on screen," it says.
The Dropbox Smart Notebook comes with either plain or ruled pages and includes a free three-month subscription to Dropbox Plus. The notebook is 13x21cm and costs US$29.95 (RM124.45).
