Microsoft has made it possible for users to test the latest versions of the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge, a free web browser that serves as a basis for several other programs including Google Chrome.
Back at the end of 2018, Microsoft announced its plans to switch to Chromium as a new engine for its web browser, Edge. From this point on, it will use the same technical basis that a large number of other browsers use, including its key rival Chrome, favoured by many Internet users around the world.
