Tune Talk is topping up monthly subscribers' plans with up to an additional 40GB of high speed video streaming data.

The promotion provides video streaming with no speed cap, applicable to 14 video services including dimsum, YouTube, Netflix and Tonton.

Without a speed cap, users should be able to watch the videos in the highest resolution available.

The offer applies to those using the mid (RM28) and top (RM40) monthly Sure One data prepaid plans, giving a boost of 6GB and 40GB of high speed data, respectively.

TuneTalk says this data is in a separate data bucket, though it did not specify what would happen once the usage quota is reached.

The telco also updated its lineup of plans in January, offering three price ranges for the monthly plans.

The three plans are RM10 a month for 1GB high-speed data and unlimited data for chat apps, RM28 a month for 6GB high-speed data data and unlimited data for chat and social network services, while the RM48 a month package comes with 10GB of high-speed data and unlimited data for chat, social and music services.

All plans come with unlimited calls to other TuneTalk users and 10GB Basic Internet, which kicks in when users exhaust their high speed data.

Basic Internet is at a much lower speed of 64 kbps. Meanwhile, voice calls to other telcos cost 22sen per minute while SMS are 10sen per message.
